Mercedes-Benz India, the country’s largest luxury carmaker, has announced the commencement of a nationwide Summer Care Camp. It has begun today and will go on until May 15, 2019. All authorised Mercedes-Benz service outlets are participating in this campaign. As the name suggests, it has been devised to provide services and offers to keep the car’s shape in the best possible condition for the scorching summer heat.

What kind of services? At no cost to the customer, Mercedes-Benz will run a check-up of the car’s electronics systems, test the air-conditioning system along with interior filters and, if needed, top-up the AC refrigerant as well. Pretty neat! Also complimentary is a check-up of tyres, brakes and fluid levels. All existing customers can avail a ‘Quick and Clean’ combo pack and Mercedes-Benz AC Spa treatment at discounted prices. Lastly, customers who have a Mercedes-Benz car which is at least 5 years old, will be eligible for a 25 per cent rebate on select parts for periodic maintenance. In essence, loyalty returns rewards.

Here’s what Martin Schwenk, who is the MD and CEO at Mercedes-Benz India, said in an official release:

Indian seasons can get quite extreme, especially the summers, which are quite intense and needs to take all precautionary measures to ensure the optimal functioning of the vehicle. We are back with our immensely popular Summer Service Camp which ensures the vehicle performs optimally under harsh weather conditions, and the customers can enjoy their summer holidays and road trips with complete peace of mind. It is our way of reinstating our commitment of offering seamless services as the most preferred luxury car manufacturer.

Mercedes-Benz India is celebrating its silver jubilee this year. Apart from introducing new products, the three-pointed star from Germany will also be focusing on expanding its footprint across the country by entering new markets. Earlier this year, the company launched the Mercedes-AMG C 43 4MATIC Coupé, commenced the fifth edition of Luxe Drive, strengthened roots in North-East India and brought the V-Class to India.
