Saar: Commenced on August 10, the campaign will run across all authorised Maruti Suzuki dealers until the end of the month.

On the occasion of India’s 72nd Independence Day, Maruti Suzuki is running a nationwide service campaign. Called the ‘Freedom Service Camp’, it went live on August 10, 2018, and will run until the end of this month. It is the second such campaign for the carmaker in two months. In July, Maruti Suzuki ran a monsoon service camp, which ran for a total of 22 days.

Anyway, let’s unravel what the newest customer-centric initiative has on offer. The company said that during the three-week period of the ‘Freedom Service Camp’, customers driving to authorised dealer workshops will be given special offers. The said offers will cover aspects like extended warranty, spare parts, car accessories and service labour charges. Apart from those, India’s largest carmaker is also offering discounts on labour charges for car body repair. Unfortunately, Maruti Suzuki did not quantify the benefits available on any of the above-mentioned areas.

Here’s what Partho Banerjee, who is the executive director of service at Maruti Suzuki India Ltd., said in a press release:

“With customer delight at the core of our business strategy, the Freedom Service Camp will help customers in maintaining their vehicle health with special offers and complimentary services. On the eve of Independence Day celebration, Maruti Suzuki is confident that its customers will appreciate this initiative and benefit from the offerings at the camp.”

The said engine will also find its place under the hood of the second-generation Ertiga MPV, which is expected to go on sale in India around Diwali this year.
