Saar: The slashed price-list is only applicable until August 20, 2018.

Last month, Hyundai Motor India announced that prices of the Grand i10 will be hiked by up to 3 per cent from August 1, 2018. However, the little hatchback is now being offered with considerable discounts along with exchange or loyalty bonus and additional discounts for government employees. The said offers are available on the petrol-powered Magna, Sportz and Asta variants of the Hyundai Grand i10.

The Magna variant, which is currently listed at an ex-showroom price of Rs 5.48 lakh, is being offered at just Rs 4.99 lakh. Next in line is the Sportz variant, which normally retails at Rs 6.0 lakh but is currently on offer at Rs 5.49 lakh. The fully-loaded Asta variant is on offer at Rs 5.99 lakh, which is nearly Rs 51,000 less than the normal retail price. Additionally, all three variants will get a loyalty or an exchange bonus of Rs 20,000. If you are a government of India employee, the South Korean carmaker will add an additional discount of Rs 5,000. All these offers are only valid until August 20, 2018.

All of the above-mentioned variants are powered by a 1.2-litre, 4-cylinder engine which produces 83PS of power and 114Nm of torque. Hyundai offers a 5-speed manual and a 4-speed automatic with this engine. However, the two-pedal setup is only available with Sportz and Magna variants of the Grand i10. For those who want a dual-tone exterior finish to their Grand i10, will have to settle with the Sportz variant.

Hyundai Motor India Commences ’20-20-20 Celebrations’ Campaign

In India, the Hyundai Grand i10 goes up against the likes of the Ford Figo, Maruti Suzuki Swift and the Toyota Etios Liva. The carmaker is currently gunning to introduce the replacement of the Eon. Codenamed as AH2, Hyundai is expected to revive the ‘Santro’ moniker with this new small car. In all likelihood, the car will go on sale in India during this year’s festive period.

Note: All prices mentioned above are ex-showroom Delhi.
