Saar: It will run through June 1-10, 2018, at all Maruti Suzuki authorised dealer workshops in the country.

Maruti Suzuki and SIAM (Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers) will jointly host the ‘World Environment Day’ service campaign, which is scheduled to run from June 1 till June 10, 2018. The venues will be all Maruti Suzuki authorised dealer workshops in the country.

During the 10-day campaign, customers will be able to avail a range of free services including pollution control check, emission and exhaust checkup and car dry wash. Additionally, a service voucher and free-of-cost inspection of car components such as fuel filter, air filter, fuel hose and spark plug will be offered. If you still haven’t noticed, all aforementioned services are directly linked to the emissions that a car produces. As far as the dry washing of cars is concerned, it promotes to save water. All-in-all, quite a package to celebrate World Environment Day, which is on June 5, 2018.

Upon announcing this environment-friendly initiative, Partho Banerjee, executive vice president of service, Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. said:

“Through the service camp, we want to contribute towards the conservation of our environment. We believe that a well-serviced vehicle is the first step towards greener mobility and endeavor to keep a check on the performance with regular service initiatives.”

Once the campaign starts, car owners can visit the nearest Maruti Suzuki authorised dealer workshop and avail the above-mentioned services. Maruti Suzuki’s official website states that it has 3,235 sales outlets and 3,423 service workshops in the country as of May 1, 2018. Those figures as on April 1, 2018, stood at 3,211 and 3,403 respectively. Taking the latter set of figures into account, Maruti Suzuki plans to increase the count of its retail network by at least 10 per cent before the current fiscal comes to an end. In the previous fiscal year, Maruti Suzuki added nearly 350 sales outlets across the country.
