What you see here is the refreshed F-Pace. Jaguar has given the SUV a thorough mid-life makeover both inside and outside the cabin. There’s new tech on offer, and it comes with updated four- and six-cylinder engines with mild-hybrid technology. The F-Pace facelift also claims the title of the first Jaguar with a plug-in hybrid variant.

The F-Pace has always looked good. But with the latest design tweaks, it has become even more eye-catching. On the outside, the SUV gets revised front and rear bumpers, sharper all-LED headlamps and taillamps, a wider front grille and redesigned bonnet and tailgate. Jaguar is also offering the optional Black Exterior Pack which, as the name suggests, dials-in a more sporty outlook with blacked-out elements. Also, there are 12 wheel options, including four new designs in 19, 20 and 21 inches.

Jaguar says that the refreshed F-Pace boasts an all-new interior. And, there’s plenty of evidence to support that claim. The SUV features even more extensive use of open-pore wood along with laser-etched speaker grilles. Soft-touch materials cover nearly everything, and there’s a new drive selector on the centre console. And, of course, there’s a new 11.4-inch HD touchscreen infotainment system which dominates the dashboard’s real estate. Jaguar calls it Pivi Pro. The F-Pace also packs Active Road Noise Cancellation as well as cabin air ionisation, which even filters out PM 2.5 particulates.

Other features include a colour head-up display, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, 15W wireless mobile charging and the second-gen Activity Key which, when worn, can lock, unlock and start the vehicle without the need of a conventional key. Thanks to the dual-sim infotainment system, the SUV can receive Over-The-Air software updates as well.

You can get the F-Pace facelift with power ranging between 161bhp and 398bhp, and torque between 365Nm and 650Nm. In total, there are eight powertrains available covering four- and six-cylinder engines, with or without mild-hybrid technology. The four-cylinder engines have a cubic capacity of 2.0 litres, whereas the six-pot motors displace 3.0 litres of fuel. All variants come as standard with all-wheel-drive and 8-speed automatic transmission. The F-Pace P400e (PHEV) has 398bhp/640Nm from a 2.0-litre petrol engine and an electric motor. It can hit 100kmph from nothing in 5.3 seconds and, thanks to a 17.1kWh lithium-ion battery, travel up to 53km on electric power alone.

The Jaguar F-Pace facelift has gone on sale in the UK. Soon, the company will launch it in other key markets across the globe. India should get it too, but that will happen by the end of 2021.
