The infamous COVID-19 pandemic drove Hyundai to invest money and a lot more time improving the online car buying platform – Click To Buy. As per the brand’s Indian arm, the webshop has clocked over 7 million visitors, more than 47,000 registrations, and 54,000 inquiries since launch. Hyundai Motor India Ltd (HMIL) has also received over 4,300 bookings via ‘Click To Buy’. To take the user experience a notch higher, the company has enhanced the said platform further.

How? In a nutshell, by increasing customer convenience. Bolstering that claim are the following additions:

  • Precise on-road price for every model-variant, without the need for logging in
  • Auto assignment of sales consultant, which promises quicker responses to customer enquires
  • The introduction of the virtual showroom experience, which works in tandem with a 3D configurator and audio hotspots (in Hindi and English)
  • More banks onboarded for full online finance integration
  • Customers can check their eligible loan limits in the discovery phase of the car buying journey
  • Based on the chosen product and dealer, the platform also shows stock availability

Here’s what W S Oh, who is the executive director of corporate planning at HMIL, said in an official statement:

Being a global technology leader, Hyundai is creating benchmarks in the auto-industry by introducing most advanced customized solutions for new age progressive India customers. Click to Buy will widen the purview of our customers and enable them towards safer, quicker and contactless transactions. We are committed towards making customers life a Happy Life and be Future Ready to set newer paradigms in the digital retail space.

The new additions to the ‘Click To Buy’ platform should help HMIL gain more online sales traction. It is the flexibility that makes the web shopping experience more welcoming. Hyundai recently took down the Grand i10 from its choice of offerings. With that gone, the Grand i10 Nios will continue to make Hyundai’s case in one of the most hotly contested price brackets in the country.
