The Indian arm of the French carmaker Renault has announced that it will run a Monsoon Camp across all its authorised dealerships in the country. Slated to commence on July 8, 2019, the week-long campaign will offer discounts and special benefits on parts and value-added services.

So, what are those offers? All cars will go through a comprehensive health check-up. Based on what needs attention, Renault India will offer 10 per cent discount on select parts, 5 per cent discount on engine oil change and a 15 per cent discount on labour charges. Apart from that, up to 50 per cent discount will be offered on select accessories, 10 per cent discount on extended warranty, 15 per cent discount on value-added services and 10 per cent discount on roadside assistance membership.

There’s more. Customers can even avail special offers on select tyre purchases and Renault Assured (car insurance renewal). For those who are members of MY Renault App, the company will offer an additional 5 per cent discount on select parts and accessories. Also, every customer will get an assured gift from Renault India.

Obviously, there are a few terms and conditions attached. One of them states that the discount on the extended warranty will be available to select customers. Another one clarifies that discounts on parts and labour are not applicable for body and paint jobs. And, as always, none of the Monsoon Camp offers can be clubbed with any other offers running at the same time. The company recommends that customers reserve a slot by calling their preferred dealership.

The day when Renault commences the nationwide Monsoon Camp is also the day when the refreshed Duster goes on sale. Coincidence? We hardly think so! Later in the year, Renault will also launch the Triber which is expected to be the first BSVI-compliant (Bharat Stage VI) model from the French carmaker.
