Porsche has only a handful of showrooms across India. Come to think of it; the brand doesn’t have the presence of a mass-market carmaker because it doesn’t need one. But, when you talk about Porsche Studio, the worldwide count doesn’t even touch twenty. Delhi’s Connaught Place has become the latest recipient for Porsche’s exclusive range of interactive showrooms. The new touchpoint is in addition to the Porsche showroom in Gurugram, and both cater to Delhi-NCR. To keep safety and health protocols in check, Porsche Studio Delhi will welcome only those with pre-scheduled appointments.

As per the German brand, the Studio is based on a “futuristic showroom concept; a new brand space that goes beyond the traditional showroom format by offering a wide range of experiences in customers’ daily lives.” Indoors, there’s a place to showcase a couple of models and adjacent to that is a Driver’s Club. That comprises of a comfortable seating area and large panorama screens to watch latest Porsche-related videos. Also, a private sales suite offers complete discretion for the car buying process. There’s also a section where customers can look and feel the option of trimmings available for their car.

Here’s what Manolito Vujicic, who recently took over as the brand head at Porsche India, said about the Studio in Delhi:

It is an innovative and exciting new approach to interact with our Porsche family of customers and enthusiasts through a combination of personal interaction and the use of the latest technology. Displays and digital touchpoints offer diverse attractions beyond just products, ranging from heritage and lifestyle to the future of the brand.

The opening of an exclusive showroom means Porsche is putting a lot of confidence in the Indian market. Later in 2021, the German brand will introduce new products, including the new Panamera, the latest 911 Turbo and the Taycan EV, which recently welcomed a fourth variant in the family.

A car nutter by heart. A hopeless engineer by education. Gunning for one goal - simplify cars.
