Chevrolet might have shut domestic sales in India, but it still manufactures models for export in Talegaon, Maharashtra. Additionally, as it promised when it was shutting sales, it continues to provide its customers with service and support. The latest initiative from the American carmaker is the Mega Service Camp, which will start from December 12 and go on until December 15, 2018. We can tag it as a winter service camp because in June this year, Chevrolet organised the Monsoon Service Campaign.

Like last time, the latest service initiative will be organised across all authorised service outlets across the country. All customers visiting any of the 170 service points can get their vehicles inspected free of cost. What’s more, Chevrolet service members will also offer a complimentary car wash. The company is also offering discounts of up to 25 per cent on genuine accessories, spare parts and labour.

If you are a Chevrolet customer and want to avail the above-mentioned benefits, we’d advise you to get in touch with the nearest authorised Chevrolet service touchpoint and book an appointment beforehand. Obviously, there are some terms and conditions attached. The main ones include:

  • Discounts on body repairs are not available.
  • No cash or substitute can be claimed against any of the offers.
  • There is no warranty for the goods and services offered by any of the service outlets.
  • Offers are non-transferable and non-negotiable.

During its Indian innings, Chevrolet sold several models spread across various segments. Just before it pulled out of the Indian market, it had products like the Tavera and Enjoys MPVs, Sail and Cruze sedans, Beat and Spark hatchbacks and the Trailblazer SUV. The main reason behind Chevrolet deciding to shut sales in India was to revisit its business strategy and realign investments on a global front.
