Nissan Motor India Pvt. Ltd. (NMIPL) has announced that the ninth edition of the ‘Happy with Nissan’ service campaign will run for eight days, from July 24 till July 31, 2018. Customers can available services like a free 60-point car health check-up, free top wash and up to 20 per cent discount on labour charges. The Japanese carmaker has also taken the opportunity to introduce safety-certified child seat. The company will be giving away 10 per cent discount on it during the service campaign.

In a press release, Sanjeev Aggarwal, vice president, after sales, NMIPL, said:

“We strongly believe in offering superior sales and after-sales services to our customers. ‘Happy with Nissan’ is a customer outreach initiative that serves as a platform for us to proactively connect with our customers. We have successfully serviced nearly 1.5 lakh customers over the years through this initiative. And, we aim to delight all our Nissan and Datsun customers with great after sales service offers during the 9th edition of ‘Happy with Nissan’.”

The first edition of ‘Happy with Nissan’ was launched in the year 2014. The eighth edition was launch in the month of January this year. Unlike the latest one, the eighth edition lasted for eleven days. For this ninth edition, all customers who own a Nissan or a Datsun product can reach out to their nearest authorised dealership to avail the benefits of the eight-day long campaign.

Nissan is currently working to introduce two new products under its own portfolio – the Kicks compact SUV and the Leaf pure-electric hatchback. Both products are expected to land in India during the current fiscal year, with Kicks coming in first. Although, the company did clarify that the Kicks SUV, which will fall in the same segment as the Hyundai Creta, will only come after it is done introducing new Datsun model. We think that the company is lining up to launch the mid-life updates of the GO hatchback and the GO+ compact MPV.

Apart from introducing new products in India, Nissan will also be establishing its first global digital hub. The company recently signed a MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) with the government of Kerala for it.
