Saar: This time around the French carmaker released a video, which focuses on the taillamps, and a still from side profile of the 5 million-euro Divo.

It was on July 10, 2018, when Bugatti released the first official teaser of its extremely limited-run Divo. The single image just had the Divo name embroidered on a piece of panel. Now though, the Volkswagen-owned French carmaker has dropped a couple of more teasers of the Divo, which will make its world premiere next month, August 24, 2018, to be precise, at an event called “The Quail – A Motorsports Gathering” in California, USA.

Here, treat yourself with the first of two teasers released on social media:

Red lights. So many of them at either end but in a three-dimensional formation. No points for guessing, the video flaunts the rear end of the Divo. And based on how the taillamp enclosures look, the rear of the car will be different to the Chiron’s. The video has also been shot in a manner that the LEDs are pointing upwards towards the top corners of the accompanying bumper. This styling cue will be part of the new design language that the Divo will showcase. The post from Bugatti also captured the hashtag – #BuiltForCorners. That means the Divo will be a lot more track-focused, agile and light-weight when compared to any of the Chiron derivatives.

The second teaser was just a still from the lower side of the Bugatti Divo. The carbon-fibre side-skirts rise before blending into the rear wheel arch and they are festooned with the French flag colours. The lower section of the Bugatti Divo is of a different colour to that of the upper side, which means like the Chiron, the Divo will have a plethora of customisation options for the exterior paint jobs.

Bugatti Chiron Now Available With ‘Sky View’

We expect more teasers to flow in before Bugatti unveils the Divo next month. Bugatti has already revealed that the Divo will have an extremely limited-run in production – only 40 units will ever be made. Each unit will have a net price of 5 million euros. The company is confident that the Divo will pay a fitting homage to the Albert Divo, a French racing driver who won the Targa Florio race on a mountainous circuit in Sicily for Bugatti in the late 1920s.
