Saar: Started yesterday, it will run until the end of the month.

Summer is upon us and in some parts of the country, it is almost. And since carmakers always seek to take care of their customers in the best possible manner, nearly all of them have announced and run a summer camp. The latest name to join the list is the Japanese carmaker Toyota with its own version of ‘Summer Service Campaign’. This customer-centric initiative began yesterday, on April 16, 2018, and will go on until the end of the month. But how is it different from the others? Well, this particular campaign is only available in three out of the 29 states in the country – Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

We sure hope that this stint for just three states in India is the first of many segments to come. Otherwise, customers from the rest of the country will just feel left out and that’s never a good plan. What Toyota has planned for its customers from the northern, western and eastern part of India remains to be seen. Anyway, during this ‘Summer Service Campaign’, Toyota customers can avail some good offers by visiting their nearest authorised dealership. Here’s the gist of them all:

  • 22-point free vehicle check-up
  • Discounts on car care packages
  • Assured gift on purchase of battery and tyres
  • Discounts on booking an appointment via the Toyota Connect mobile app
  • Lucky draws

Upon announcing the launch of the ‘Summer Service Campaign’, N Raja, deputy managing director, Toyota Kirloskar Motor, said, “Customer First – being our key cornerstone, we remain dedicated to offer desired service support to our customers for the best care of their Toyota cars. We having assessed & understanding our customers’ needs, hence at the onset of every season, offer customized and attractive service packages that ensures the highest quality of maintenance and experience at every touch point. We hope this exclusive service campaign will add further delight to the experience of owning a Toyota vehicle. Being safety leader, it is our conscious effort to raise awareness on importance of regular maintenance of the cars to ensure safe driving experience. The dealers have also tasked themselves to reach out to customers and invite them for complete vehicle check, to ensure ‘No Miss’ on the best deals before the summer drives.”

Apart from Toyota, other carmakers like Mercedes-Benz, Audi and Renault have announced and run such events in the country. But unlike Toyota, all of them conducted theirs on a nationwide level.
