Aurangabad Gets Its Own Mercedes-Benz Dealership
Saar: Spread over an area of 20,000 sq. ft., the dealership has a four-car display layout along with seven dedicated service bays.
India’s largest luxury carmaker Mercedes-Benz aims to stay ahead of the game by expanding its footprint across the length and breadth of the country, specifically in tier II cities. Today, it inaugurated its first dealership in the city of Aurangabad in Maharashtra. Named as Indisch Motoren, the new 3S dealership attracted an investment of Rs 4 crores and was built in just 6 months of time. The company said apart from garnering potential clients from Aurangabad, the dealership will also cater to neighbouring towns of the district.
At the inauguration event, Michael Jopp, VP, sales and marketing, Mercedes-Benz India, said:

The newest dealership is spread across an area of 20,000 sq. ft. and features a four-car display layout and seven dedicated service bays. Apart from those, the new facility houses Café Mercedes which is a separate section for genuine Mercedes-Benz accessories and merchandise as well as a customer lounge. As for the service section, it has been designed to cater to major and minor repairs along with a body and paint shop.
In India, Mercedes-Benz has the widest range of models and the largest number of authorised dealerships (94 across 45 cities) amongst its rivals. The three-pointed star from Stuttgart, Germany, sold 11,789 units during January – September 2018. That’s the highest amongst all European rivals in India.
