Saar: Apart from new extended warranty options, a service value pack is also up for grabs.

Volkswagen India has commenced this year’s monsoon season by laying out a couple of good deals for its discerning customers across the country. It is now giving away new extended warranty options as well as a service value pack. Let’s understand what these are.

First up, the extended warranty options. By default, all Volkswagen models in India come with a warranty period of 2 years/unlimited kilometres. But for people who want to cover their cars for more years under warranty, Volkswagen now has three options – 2+1 year / 80,000 km, 2+2 years / 1 lakh kilometres and 2+3 years /1.25 lakh kilometres. To avail the extended warranty, the vehicle must be within the standard warranty period. Price? Refer to the attachment given below.

Next up is the newly launched one-year service value pack. When opted for, it comes with benefits such as free pick-up and drop-off with vehicle inspection, an engine check-up as well as discounted pricing on wheel alignment and balancing, minor body and paint jobs and a 3M interior enrichment treatment. 1,000 customers who avail the service value pack on or before August 15, 2018, stand a chance to win cash coupons worth Rs 2,000 each. Volkswagen will also give free one year additional service value pack to five customers.

Upon launching these monsoon benefits, Steffan Knapp, director, Volkswagen Passenger Cars, said:

“While the monsoon brings much needed respite from the summer heat, it also calls for special attention to on-road safety. The 2+3 years extended warranty provides customers an adaptable vehicle protection option, meanwhile the service value package ensures their cars are maintained and equipped to deal with the change in climatic conditions. With these benefits, we encourage customers to prepare their cars for the monsoon season and extend our support to enable them to do so.”

Apart from these two offers, customers can avail 40-point monsoon check at Rs 700 plus taxes through any of the authorised service stations. Additionally, the German carmaker is giving up to 10 per cent discount on selected monsoon accessories and wear and tear parts. The company is also running special offers on tyres as well.
