Saar: Designed for owners and prospects, the app is available on Google’s Android and Apple’s iOS platforms.

In a bid to bring the entire buying and ownership experience in the user’s hand, Renault India has updated its mobile application which now features 90+ features. Available on Google’s Android and Apple’s iOS platforms, the mobile app is called MY RENAULT. It is free of cost mobile application and both owners of Renault models and prospects can make use of it.

For existing customers, Renault has added a new section called ‘Refer-A-Renault’ programme. As the name suggests, customers can refer friends and relatives to purchase a Renault car. As a thank you, the company will give away special benefits. The updated app is also connected to Renault Connect – the company’s dealer management system. Needless to say, this feature will benefit dealers and the customers as it will help in keeping a track of transactions taking place through the app. Owners can now also keep a track on the service expenses of their Renault cars and avail the newly added feature of fuel log, which enables the customers to monitor mileage of their cars.

For prospects, the updated MY RENAULT app features the ability to explore the entire model range. If interested, potential customers can submit an enquiry for a new car or even book one online with the preferred Renault dealer.

The e-commerce section, however, doesn’t end there. The app also lets you purchase genuine Renault accessories and merchandise. In select areas, Renault will also deliver the stuff at home. Other features of the mobile app include access to service history of vehicles, personalised reminders and notifications, online service appointments, user manuals for vehicles, digital vaults for document storage and service cost estimator.

Renault India currently retails four models – Kwid, Lodgy, Duster and Captur. The Lodgy was recently in the news when Global NCAP revealed its crash-test results. Expect Renault India to send the updated specimen of the MPV to Global NCAP soon.
