Saar: Meant for select markets in India, it is available in the VX trim with petrol and diesel engines.

Toyota Kirloskar Motor has taken the Etios Liva Dual Tone and added some sporty garnishing to create the Etios Liva Dual Tone Limited Edition. Meant for select markets in India, it is available in the VX trim with petrol and diesel engines. While the petrol-fed VX is priced at Rs 6.51 lakh, the diesel-powered VXD carries a price tag of Rs 7.66 lakh (both prices, ex-showroom Delhi). Compared to the prices of the standard Etios Live Dual Tone, the Limited Editions are Rs 21,000 dearer.

So, what do you get for that extra money? For a start, it is a limited edition. That will add a much-sought-after exclusivity factor to the equation. To ensure that it is different from everything else in the Etios Liva family, Toyota has used the colour red to adorn the exterior and the interiors of the hatch. On the outside, the Etios Liva Dual Tone Limited Edition gets red door handles, decals on the sides and red accents on the boot-lid, fog lamp bezel and the front grille.

Inside the cabin, the all-black interiors come with red accents on the AC vents and the gear knob. On the equipment front, the Etios Liva Dual Tone Limited Edition comes with a 6.8-inch touchscreen display and a reverse camera. Toyota will offer this variant of the Etios Liva with one exterior colour – Super White – whereas the contrasting colour of the roof will be black.

Suzuki To Invest More Than $1 Billion In Toyota India’s Production Plant

The Toyota Etios Liva has always been a solid offering in its segment. But, unfortunately, it hasn’t clicked as well as the company had anticipated. Apart from being one of the roomiest and safest cars in the segment, it comes with Toyota’s legendary reliability. At the beginning of last month, Toyota India introduced a new dual-tone colour option – Inferno Orange with a Black roof – for the Etios Liva.
