Statistically, Indian roads are considered to be the most dangerous in the world. Every year, lakhs of accidents take place on our network of tarmac and tens-of-thousands out of those result in fatalities. To educate the masses about road safety and bring down the number of deaths in the event of an accident, a nationwide safety week is organised at least once every year. This year’s road safety week commenced on February 4, 2019.

To make its worthwhile contribution, Renault India has decided to run a week-long campaign of its own. The camp has been designed to cater to the ultimate aim of protecting the people on the move. Until February 10, 2019, the Indian arm of the French carmaker is offering 15 per cent discount on safety-related parts and accessories. The list includes brake pads, brake shoes and discs, floor mats, anti-theft security system, parking sensors and a rear-view camera. The carmaker is also offering discounts on new tyres from select brands.

If you are a Renault owner and want to take advantage of this national safety week, you should reserve a slot at the nearest authorised Renault dealership. You can do so either by calling the facility directly or via the My Renault mobile application. The company is offering the above-mentioned discounts at all its dealerships across the length and breadth of the country. One particular condition for availing these offers is that you cannot club or adjust them with any other ongoing promotion.

Last month, Renault India organised a nationwide republic day service camp which ran for a period of four days. Recently, the company also updated the Duster and Kwid with some noticeable changes in the features and variants departments. Apart from introducing the all-new Duster later this year, Renault will also launch a Kwid-based mini MPV which will undercut the likes of the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga and will compete directly with the Datsun Go+.
